The Leaders4Tomorrow Program is a compass and solution we created to navigate challenging times in our industry – as a recruiter, as team lead, leading operations.

Thanks to the amazing support of our global partners, at Talentor International, we consciously created a diverse group of leaders from Switzerland, the Netherlands, Latvia, Austria and Ukraine, to participate in this Leadership Program, to learn from each other’s experiences, to answer the questions that we have before leading teams and the experience of already leading an entire operation.

The Leaders4Tomorrow Program officially started in September 2023 at the Talentor Summit in Amsterdam, followed by a series of virtual sessions with global leaders and HR professionals from different industries, and an on-site Leadership Camp in Vienna during November 2023 in which we engaged with provoking keynotes, learning sessions and updates from everyone from the Leaders4Tomorrow Program team.

And so, we soon reach July 2024, in which the closing of the program and the presentation of the strategic projects that each of our leaders developed for their companies and markets took place!

One of the talents within the Talentor Community who participated and recently culminated the first cohort of the Leaders4Tomorrow Program was Olha Khakhuda.

Olha Khakhuda works as Recruitment Specialist at MIRA Top Recruiting, our Partner from Ukraine.

The strategic project that Olha developed at Talentor’s Leaders4Tomorrow Program was developing a relevant value proposition in an unstable recruitment market. In the project Olha worked with different scenarios of the current war in Ukraine, focusing on growing the business with a strategy of international alliances and its USP in the local market.

Olha mentions that this program and project meant a great professional and personal growth for her:

This program pushed me outside my comfort zone with live meetings and constant engagement. It was absolutely worthwhile. I have improved my project skills, time management, and public speaking skills. Feeling a stronger connection to my team and the company's vision.

We were fortunate to see her in person at the kick-off of the program in Amsterdam and share some very nice moments in the midst of all the destabilization of the current war in Ukraine. Arriving in Amsterdam from Ukraine meant more than 24 hours of travel for Olha, which demonstrated her commitment, dedication and passion for her profession and for the goal of fulfilling the Talentor leadership program. Something we will never forget!

Her participation in the L4T Program was inspiring to our Talentor team, so we wanted to introduce Olha to our whole community! We asked her a few questions and here is what she shared with us!

What inspires you most in your work?

Since I started my career as a researcher, I am still most driven by the process of market analysis and candidate search. I enjoy understanding business needs and thinking about which candidates would be the best fit. I love creating a detailed search map and thoroughly researching the market to find the best candidates for a specific business.

What do you value most when dealing with candidates?

As a specialist in recruiting top executives, it’s essential to recognize that these candidates usually possess outstanding and distinguished experience in their respective fields. I value the opportunity to engage with them, ask questions, and understand their perspectives and thought processes. Moreover, I deeply appreciate it when candidates respect me as a recruiter and value my time by being courteous and professional.

Tell us one word to describe Talentor, one word to describe your profession and one word to describe yourself.

Talentor = collaboration

My profession = improvisation/creativity

Me (Olha) = chaotic

What is a tip you would give your younger self or any young talent out there for the business world?

The more open you are to the world, the more the world is open to you. Don't be afraid - explore and be curious. That's the only way good opportunities come your way.

If tonight was karaoke night, which song would you choose?

Have You Ever Seen the Rain by Creedence Clearwater Revival. An enduring classic!

Olha’s committment for the program, her first travels out of Ukraine and presence enriched the program and group in many ways. She had been focused and engaged in every session, spot on with her questions and brought this ton of learning comittment in all regards – from strategy to her communuication and now incredible English level – to the program!

Gertraud Eregger, L4T Program Manager

Thank you, Olha for sharing these interesting fun- facts with us! It was a pleasure to have worked with you in the program and to know more about you!
