IT Infrastructure Program Manager Remote (m/w/d)

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Plan, initiate, and manage IT infrastructure programs, including data center operations, cloud migrations, network upgrades, and enterprise IT systems implementations.
  • Define program scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, risk management plans, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Monitor and report on program performance, using KPIs to track progress and ensure timely delivery.
    Technical Leadership
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Ensure robust architecture and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
    Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure alignment on program objectives.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and issues effectively to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive decision-making and resolve conflicts to maintain program momentum.
    Vendor and Resource Management
  • Manage vendor relationships, including RFPs, contracts, and performance evaluations.
  • Allocate resources efficiently across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of team capabilities, providing mentorship and guidance as needed.
    Risk and Compliance
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure architecture, including cloud computing, networking, security, and enterprise IT systems.
  • Hands-on experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency in risk management, compliance frameworks, and IT governance best practices.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and RFP processes
  • English fluent, German would be a plus
