The Instrument Engineer will be responsible for projects, within the Instrument Engineering Discipline and secure that they are in line with Nynas policies and follows budget, timelines and quality.

You will also:
  • Participate in maintenance, configuration and development of systems (e.g. DeltaV, PI, AMS/Plantweb, Tankmaster, Milestone Expert).
  • Identify and investigate equipment performance and contribute to equipment reliability.
  • Develop and apply best practices for installation and preventative maintenance of instrument equipment.
  • Maintain documentation and asset management systems.

Desired Qualifications

The successful candidate has a good knowledge and understanding of Automation and Instrument equipment and has hands-on knowledge- and several years of experience from the process industry.
The candidate holds a MSc in Instrument Engineering and/or has equivalent work experience and training. Today you probably have a similar position at a production plant or work as a Maintenance or Service Engineer in a process- or heavy industry. Or perhaps you are a consultant longing to take longer perspective on things? A
You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
