About the job

Do you want to be part of the next step in the development of Mechanical & Piping Engineering in technical projects?
You will be the key person in our work to develop technology, standards and processes to ensure quality, safety and efficiency in Mechanical & piping engineering in the projects.

Key responsibilities

As the position holder you will be responsible for the Mechanical & Piping discipline within Project Engineering. This means that you will be responsible for Nynas Technical Standard (NTS) together with the processes and tools that are being used for engineering within the discipline. In addition, you will also be fully or partly responsible for project management regarding time, cost, performance and quality; from approval of investment to delivery to the receiving organization. Your main duties will include:

  • Management and development of technical standards
  • Development of methodology, tools and procedures within Mechanical and Piping engineering.
  • Governance of Smart Plant 3D
  • Pre-studies, planning and execution of projects
  • Quality, time and cost follow-up
  • Ensure staffing in projects within the Mechanical and piping discipline

Candidate profile

The successful candidate has extensive experience from project work within mechanical and piping engineering within the refinery/petrochemical industry or similar. You have an academic exam, preferably a Master of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

To do well in this position you should be independent, analytic and service minded. You are well structured and result oriented with excellent communication and leadership skills. You are fluent in both Swedish and English.
