The Development team in EcoOnline is made up of more than 60 developers across five countries, and we’re looking to grow our team with a Senior Developer with JavaScript expertise and PHP experience.

Responsibilities:

As EcoOnline grows, so does our Development team. We are looking for a new senior developer with JavaScript expertise, and preferably PHP experience. You will primarily work on one of our main products, Chemical Manager, which is a Vue.js application. We have lots of other exciting projects that you will also be asked to contribute to.

As a senior developer you will help us deliver the best possible SaaS tools within the HSEQ domain using modern technology and development methodologies.You will join the Norwegian Development team which currently has 15 members and be a very important part of the team’s growth and skillset.

The Role:

The ideal candidate should have excellent programming skills with a focus on quality, performance, extensibility, and maintainability of code within an agile software development environment. EcoOnline takes pride in being multi-cultural and multi-language, and you should be fluent in both Norwegian and English.We work product oriented and strive to be as autonomous as possible. Most of the team are located in Tønsberg, but you can also work from our Oslo office. Fully remote work is unfortunately currently not possible.

Experience:
  • Expertise in JavaScript development, with at least 5 years of experience
  • Experience with Vue.js
  • Experience with automated frontend testing
  • We hope you have experience with PHP and Laravel which is the framework we use
  • We use things like Git, GitHub, and Jira – you should be comfortable with all of them
  • Degree educated

Additional skills:
  • Fluent in English, oral and written
  • CSS, we use Tachyons and Tailwind CSS in our applications
  • Automated frontend testing
  • Agile project management, including agile pods
  • AWS, specifically CodeDeploy and CodePipeline
  • PostgreSQL
  • Docker
