Your role

The Security Manager is ultimately responsible for our security and facilities at all sites with primary focus on MilDef HQ in Helsingborg. The range of the position is from highest corporate strategy to day-to-day security operations, securing that our organization can efficiently do their jobs.
As a hands-on Security Manager with a keen business sense and an analytic mindset, you know in your heart that well-functioning security is an enabler to make operations run. You see the importance of creating solutions which enables the business to operate. At the same time, you understand the cost and complexity of Security systems, and can balance cost versus benefit. In other words, you get the big picture, and you have the skills to navigate to where we need to go.
In the same way our products and operation are state of the art you understand the importance of our facilities being state of the art. You will have a key role in maintenance of our facilities a with responsible of handling agreements and suppliers within your domain. You are used to work in project organizations with both internal and external stakeholders.
Since our business is based on trust, security of staff, assets and operation is critical.
On a normal day, you do everything from supporting our staff, meeting customer demands, fulfilling legal obligations and enabling new business within your domain.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsibility for security, facilities, and incident response.
  • Assess security situation for vulnerabilities, weaknesses and for possible upgrades or improvements.
  • Ownership and management over security- and fire safety systems.
  • Provide guidance on security practices and solutions to build and deliver solutions that meet security and business requirements.
  • Understand current and emerging security threats and guide practices accordingly.
  • Communicate regularly with various business and technical teams to drive alignment between functional, technical, and security needs.
  • Perform security audits and testing.
  • Support the organization in security related topics.
  • Review annually, at minimum, and update Corporate governing documents relating to security and facility management.

Your profile

  • Proven experience as Security Manager or similar role.
  • Great analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • A strong strategic and business-oriented mindset
  • Understanding of security processes and business processes.
  • Managerial/leadership experience over teams and projects and leading virtual teams
  • Experience working within a global organization and working with global security and facility management.
  • Understanding of and competence within standard security and fire safety processes.
  • Excellent organizational and pedagogical skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Education in security, facility management, maintenance, or relevant field.
  • Swedish citizen
  • Fluent in Swedish & English
