The function is based on the role of a classic Sales Director description, in addition to the function, signatory rights and representation of the company come along.


Work with trading partners – chain stores, ind. stores.

This brings 80% of turnover to the company. Works in certain (built, standardized) frames, with standard contracts / trade terms, based on segmentation, etc apply to partners within a standard frame.

Termination of cooperation or new customers inclusion should be coordinated with HQ.


Cooperation with HQ management group – HR, Marketing, etc – coordinates and plans together at a strategic level.

NB! Direct sales staff – reporting only to HQ directly and not to the position. Miele online store falls into this segment.


Primarily, an excellent sales person should have:

The ability to predict what may happen in the market.

The ability to predict what is happening to market players.

The ability to classify partners, understand risks.

Ability to take risks. Let people come up with ideas and let/help them realized those risks.
