Due to increased number of global agreements and functions, Talentor is looking for a

Specialist Indirect Tax

to work for Circle K Business Centre.
The Task:

Overall responsibility for VAT reporting quality and compliance for reporting submitted on behalf of serviced entities in Circle K Europe

Ensure accurate, compliant and timely submission of ICC VAT returns
Secure VAT payments and refunds of ICC and other entities
Ensure signature rights for VAT returns for entities serviced by Circle K Business Centre. Secure back up’s where legally possible.
Detect and evaluate risks related to Indirect Tax
Ensure that the Indirect Tax related reporting procedures are
compliant and
well implemented
within the Circle K Europe companies
serviced by the Business Centre
Contribute to other projects and duties as assigned by direct superior

You have:

University degree in economics / finance field
Expert knowledge of local VAT reporting and regulations. Knowledge of international VAT regulations will be considered as an advantage.
Experience with accounting and transfer pricing will be regarded as a benefit
Good organizational skills, proactive and process driven, good problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, strong analytical and technical / EXCEL skills
A self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team
Fluent English and Latvian language skills (oral and writing)
