They are looking for:

Senior CAPEX Controller
Main Duties:

Developing fixed assets accounting process from zero for
one of the Circle K companies in Europe
Statutory reporting: Fixed assets consolidation for 8 companies according to local GAAP
Group reporting directly to Parent company in Canada (ACT): Fixed assets consolidation according to IFRS
Monthly processing including depreciation, capitalization and disposal of assets
Assets Under Construction account monitoring - communication with responsible technical leaders regarding status of ongoing projects
Capitalization - close cooperation with Business Unit to ensure correct CAPEX cost split according to internal accounting policy
Coordinating disposals and transfers of fixed assets to ensure all procedures and costs are recognized
Conduct analyses related to fixed assets as requested by various Business Units
Preparation of monthly and quarterly fixed assets related reports and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives, including Purchase price allocation reporting on Business Unit and Group level
Ensure accurate reporting of ARO
Participate and lead projects related to Fixed and Intangible assets accounting and reporting
Execute and document process Key Controls for internal compliance monitoring
Develop and maintain process documentation from zero
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in audit, finance, economics or accounting
Experience in accounting or audit field
Solid knowledge of IFRS
Strong Excel skills
Experience with ERP systems (SAP will be considered as an advantage)
Experience with general ledger functions, month end/ quarter/ year end closing processes
Fluent English
ACCA studies in progress will be considered as an advantage
Consolidation experience will be considered as an advantage
