To extend the Samsung Electronics Baltics team, we are currently looking for a

Lawyer

to join the Legal & Compliance Team.

Main Responsibilities will include

Preparing and monitoring contracts (including sales, purchase, lease, labour etc.) and their compliance with the provisions of the Law;
Ensuring that the development of Samsung Electronics Baltics complies with the local Law;
Coordinating the communication with partners in legal issues in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia;
Cooperating with the Legal Team based in the Headquarters and preparing reports;
Arranging immigration, residence and work permits.

Qualifications required

University Degree in Law and up-to-date knowledge on relevant legislation;
Fluency and practical work experience in preparation of legal documents in Latvian and English (Russian language skills will be considered as an advantage);
Analytical mind for large amounts of information;
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail;
Confidence and ability to express and advocate the argumentation;
Ability to enjoy a high level of responsibility and stay calm under pressure;
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to explain legal matter to people without such knowledge.
