Managing Director DHL Freight Latvia

In this role you will define the business strategy, lead, drive and manage country Freight business lines (Full Load, Freight Forwarding, Specialties, Non-systemized, European Carrier Organization) to achieve short and long term financial and operational objectives (profitability, revenue, productivity and market share) in line with DPDHL vision and strategy, and shareholder interests.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

• Implement country level business strategy and lead country’s business operation to achieve short and long term financial and operational objectives (profitability, revenue, productivity, and market share) in line with the company`s global vision and strategy, standards and guidelines
• Develop a motivated and high performing team of professionals that you lead by example according to DHL values and guidelines
• Undertake responsibility for the safety and environment in the Latvian organization
• Manage efficient and positive relationships with stakeholders and clients

Requirements:

• Excellent business / commercial acumen and strong customer orientation
• Experienced within international transportation, preferably, road freight
• Track record of driving business growth and transformations in an organization
• Well-developed leadership skills in building and steering a high-performing and engaged
• Relevant educational background (BA/MA)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Latvian and English
