Our client is an innovative and very successful group that manufactures and sells high-quality stainless-steel products globally. To reinforce the sales team in Europe with focus on EPC companies and fabricators, our client is looking for a Sales Manager who would significantly increase the sales budget and develop new clients.

Sales Engineer Germany (f/m/x)

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

  • Develop the Midstream, Downstream and PowerGen markets in Germany to meet the assigned sales budget
  • Market analysis and mapping by various products and applications to identify short- and long-term business opportunities for the company
  • Analyze market demand versus company capabilities to identify project needs and criticalities in the company value proposition
  • Meet with EPCs, fabricators and end customers to discuss current and future projects, active inquiries, and market scenarios
  • Obtain registration in Clients Approved Vendor List and make sure the client approvals are maintained
  • Review inquiries and send the selected RFQs to Business Units for quoting
  • Prepare and issue technical-commercial offers in coordination with Business Units
  • Ensure that the awarded orders are executed without any delay and in line with all technical requirements and contractual conditions
  • Visit clients and participate to fairs and exhibitions in Germany


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Material engineer or similar with strong commercial background and in-depth application knowledge in process industry (refineries, petrochemical, chemical plants, etc.)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience preferably related with O&G Downstream business in an EPC company, manufacturer, fabricator, refinery or petrochemical industry
  • Proven experience in complex sales: review of contractual conditions, multilevel negotiation, ability to close deals with maximum value for the company
  • Business and customer oriented
  • Strong marketing & sales skills
  • Excellent German and English language skills

The annual gross salary for this position starts at € 80 000 excl. bonus. There is willingness to overpay according to your qualifications and experience.
