Currently, they are looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join their team!

As a Senior Credit Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely repayment of granted loan and leasing liabilities. You will be responsible for monitoring customer payment behaviour, managing debt recovery processes, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate credit risk.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor existing customers and their payment behaviour

• Restructure financing arrangements in cases of payment difficulties

• Manage dunning (pre-trial debt collection) and oversee legal debt collection process

• Collaborate with local debt collection agencies and other external partners

• Organize and manage the repossession process, including safekeeping of repossessed assets

• Oversee the sale of repossessed assets

• Prepare and deliver regular reports of debt collection KPIs

• Draft and submit credit proposals.

About you

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit control, corporate debt recovery or financial restructuring

• Solid understanding of Latvian legal framework in debt repossession

• Strong financial analysis and restructuring skills

• Excellent communication and co-operation skills

• High attention to detail and critical thinking abilities

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively

• Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Fluent in Latvian and English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Russian is desirable

• Higher education in Finance, Economics, Legal or related discipline.
