Current automotive megatrends such as eMobility, connectivity and digitalization offer enormous growth potential for the high performance materials of our client – in the battery itself as well as in components such as connectors, relays and sensors. For the further development of this business area we are currently looking for an experienced business professional with a technical background and the passion to develop the next generation of those applications, together with the engineers of our client´s customers.Your key responsibilities:
- Based on thorough market analysis, develop sustainable business for our client’s high performance materials
- Support and grow the current customer base with existing applications and product portfolio
- Develop a sales and marketing strategy and execute it in close cooperation with our customer’s global network
- Develop and cultivate long-term relationships with key design, materials and processes engineers
- Determine customer requirements and recommend the best solution from the existing high performance materials portfolio
- Support the sales process through contract negotiation and conclusion
- Assist the Management in devising marketing and sales plans, providing forecasts and budgets for the Automotive Electronics market
- Support marketing activities, conferences and exhibitions
YOUR QUALIFIKATIONS
- University or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, or related discipline (Metallurgical/Material Science would be a plus)
- Significant experience (at least five years) in technical marketing, business development or sales role in automotive electronics arena, ideally also in eMobility
- Customer focus, team player and a good communicator
- Excellent presentation skills and high proficiency in MS Office
- Fluent German and English language required, additional European language skills preferred
