Senior Java Developer

Our client is a technology company that specializes in providing innovative customer service software, automation, and digital solutions with the help of RPA, Chatbots or ML models to businesses.

Their omnichannel customer service software enables businesses to provide a seamless and consistent experience to their customers across all touchpoints. It incorporates 16 years of customer service and it was created having business needs in mind, not just another software that tries to solve a business need. It is also highly customizable, allowing businesses to tailor it to their specific needs and requirements.

Our client is looking for a senior Java developer.

Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
2. Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications.
3. Analyze user requirements to define business objectives.
4. Develop and test software.
5. Identify and resolve various technical issues arising.
6. Create detailed design documentation.
7. Develop technical designs for application development.
8. Write well-designed, testable code.
9. Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
2. At least 3 years experience in Java development.
3. Experience working with Spring ecosystem (Boot, Security, web).
4. Microservices architecture.
5. Good Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts.
6. Familiarity with different design and architectural patterns.
7. Expertise in continuous integration.
8. Experience in working with databases (PostgreSQL).
9. Knowledge of code versioning tools, for instance, Git.
10. Understanding of building tools like Maven, Gradle, etc.
11. Skilled in writing reusable Java libraries and clean code.
12. Understanding of the concepts like MVC (Model-View-Controller) Pattern, JDBC (Java Database Connectivity), RESTful web services.
13. Knowledge of JVM (Java Virtual Machine), its drawbacks, weaknesses, and workarounds.
14. Nice to have: knowledge of server generated UI frameworks like JSF2/Struts2/SpringMVC
15. Basic Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
