Business Development Manager, Defense - Norma Precision AB

Norma Precision AB manufactures hunting and shooting ammunition in over 130 calibers, offering one of the world's largest ranges. With a turnover exceeding SEK 700 million and a team of 250 employees in Åmotfors, Norma is part of the international Beretta Holding Group.

Are you ready for an exciting challenge as our new Business Development Manager? We at Norma are seeking a committed and results-oriented colleague who is eager to contribute to the growth of our new Governmental segment.

Your role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth within the Governmental segment. You will collaborate with end users, government officials, technical experts, and other stakeholders within the defense sector. Your responsibilities will involve discovering and developing new business opportunities from inception to completion, leading projects, and creating and maintaining strong customer relationships. A key aspect of the role is to develop and master Norma’s product portfolio in the Defense segment and tailor solutions to meet 'built-to-spec' requirements set by various customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Business growth: You will be responsible for driving business growth within the Defense segment at Norma.
  • Market Development: Your role includes discovering and developing new markets, partnerships, and growth segments.
  • Contract Management: Prepare and negotiate contracts to secure new business opportunities.
  • Project Leadership: Lead MIL-related projects and manage customer relationships effectively.

You are accustomed to working strategically and have the analytical skills to handle complex projects, delivering excellent results. Your persistence is a key strength, helping you to discover new business opportunities and secure new customers.
We Are Looking for Candidates with:
  • Relevant experience and the right mindset for working with end customers in the Governmental segment and the ability to perform independently.
  • Experience in closing deals and contract negotiations, also in long sales processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
  • Analytical capability to create and manage business analytics and write reports.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
  • Experience within the Defense sector.
