Account Manager – Iron & Steel

Calderys, a global leader in high-temperature solutions, is looking for a hands-on, proactive Account Manager to manage customer relationships, product trials, and installation projects in Northern Finland.

What you’ll do:
- Drive sales in the Iron & Steel segment by visiting customers and developing strong, long-term relationships
- Follow up on material installations and product trials, providing expert technical support
- Introduce new products, services, and innovations to customers
- Prepare quotations for materials, engineering, and installations
- Develop, present, and implement customer plans tailored to their operations
- Ensure all projects comply with risk assessments and method statements
- Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs and opportunities
- Complete sales forecasts and periodic reports
What we’re looking for:
- Degree or equivalent in Material Science, Process Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
- Solid understanding of refractories and their use in steel production
- Previous technical and/or sales experience in the refractory or related industry
- Strong leadership behaviours: leads self, communicates effectively, collaborates, delivers results, and drives improvement
- Willingness to travel mainly in Finland, with occasional Calderys Group meetings abroad
- Sales-driven, hands-on, proactive, and eager to grow customer relationships
