Senior Buyer - Indirect Contracting (Europe)

Are you an experienced Buyer with a passion for driving business success through strategic procurement? A leading European retailer is seeking a forward-thinking Senior Buyer to shape and execute their procurement strategies. In this role, you'll manage a variety of indirect procurement contracts, drawing on your expertise in stakeholder engagement to streamline the procurement process.

Your main responsibilities will center around HR and recruitment contracts, with additional involvement in car leasing, corporate travel, consultancy, and payroll service providers.

In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of supplier landscapes to deliver top-notch procurement services. Whether it is for existing or new markets, you will be a reliable partner. Your daily tasks include:

• You build strong, trust-based relationships with both internal stakeholders and suppliers;
• You are able to find a balance between long-term strategic needs, short-term cost efficiency, and the available knowledge of (future) developments;
• You develop procurement strategies for each category to optimize and prioritize the impact of purchasing activities;
• You are responsible for supplier and contract management for the key suppliers within the category, including conducting tenders, negotiations, and selecting new suppliers.

Requirements

We are looking for a Buyer with:

• A minimum of 5 years'  indirect procurement experience;
• Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management;
• Proven experience in negotiating large-scale HR & Recruitment contracts;
• Capable of structuring activities, managing projects, and driving change;
• Fluent in English;
• Nevi 2 certification is an advantage.

Salaris

The offer Senior Buyer - Indirect Contracting (Europe)

The gross annual salary ranges from €85,000 to €95,000 per year, including holiday allowance. Additionally, a bonus is provided, though a car is not included in the package.
