Senior Marketing Executive

Denholm have partnered with an award-winning Fintech based in Edinburgh in search of a talented and ambitious Senior Marketing Executive.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large and multi-disciplined marketing team and learn from some of the best while also having a decisive impact yourself.

With customers at the heart, you will develop and execute awareness and acquisition campaigns that use data, insight and tools to deliver the right content to the right prospective customer at the right time, whilst maintaining an optimal always on presence.

You will collaborate with our creative teams to develop and deliver initiatives that drive awareness and acquisition within this audience group. Acting as the champion for our client, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver compelling marketing campaigns that encourage customers to utilise our clients products.

We’re looking for someone who has a strong track record in delivering compelling creative acquisition communications. You’ll also be super-organised, have good judgement in the creative development process and have a keen focus on getting the best from all acquisition opportunities. This is underpinned by an excellent grasp of metrics, good business acumen and excellent collaboration skills.

Here's what you can expect:
  • Supporting the Senior Marketing Manager in shaping and delivering our acquisition strategy for business customers through compelling campaigns and always on activity.
  • To spot awareness and acquisition-led opportunities in the marketing funnel and to optimise.
  • To test, grow and optimise existing channels, generating required levels of sign ups.
  • With Data teams, analyse qualitative and quantitative data and insights to continually evolve our customer understanding and optimise communications.
  • Deliver regular marketing reports detailing performance against objectives.
  • Create pitches, briefs and influence stakeholders to deliver new initiatives.

We’re looking for:
  • A demonstrable track record of planning and executing compelling creative acquisition communications across a range of marketing channels.
  • Someone who is super-organised, has good judgement in the creative development process and has a keen focus on getting the best from all acquisition opportunities.
  • Great copywriter who has a sharp eye for detail, creative flair and knows how to draw readers in.
  • Great communications skills with the ability to manage partnerships and nuances, effectively sharing knowledge and expertise, and is confident in giving feedback to creatives and other delivery parties.
  • A confident project manager with great time management who delivers to deadlines.
  • The ability to adapt and work at pace to deliver to tight deadlines calmly and effectively.
  • A natural collaborator who can work effectively with colleagues at all levels, as both part of a smaller team and the wider organisation, including external partners.
  • A problem solver with great positivity who can proactively manage emerging issues and see the bigger picture, providing clarity where required.
  • A love of all things data; you’ll have an excellent grasp of metrics and a desire to understand performance, reporting on it effectively and responding to key insights.
  • Strong working knowledge of tools such as Google Analytics and
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience in marketing SaaS or FinTech is advantageous, but not essential .
  • Good presentation skills, excellent listening skills and lots of self-motivation.
  • Good (digital) event management skills are advantageous, but not essential.
