Lead/Senior Solution Architect & Developer (m/f/d)

Your Task:

• Act as a technical lead for our client's Claims development initiatives
• Coordinate and align developers across multiple international locations (DE, CH, ES, India)
• Design and implement global software components, integrating both global and local requirements
• Guide and mentor developers on technical implementation and adaptation of global software components
• Ensure high-quality delivery through code reviews, unit testing, and system integration testing
• Support architectural decision‑making and contribute to the evolution of the overall software ecosystem
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and SMEs within the Claims area
• Drive progress proactively within an agile environment

Your Profil:

• 10+ years of experience as a Senior or Lead Developer
• Strong experience working in international, distributed teams
• Minimum 3 years of development experience in a large-scale core insurance platform, ideally with a focus on Claims File functionality
• Deep expertise in core insurance solutions and configuration languages, including proficiency in extending and customizing these platforms
• Solid understanding of the business layer of enterprise insurance systems (Claims specialization is an advantage)
• Experience working with core plug-in mechanisms within enterprise insurance platforms is a plus
• Good understanding of standard claims business process flows
• Strong Java development skills (Java 12+)
• Experience with OSGi and Eclipse Plug-ins
• Proficiency in Spring Boot and REST APIs
• Hands‑on experience with Git (branching strategies, PRs, merges)
• Experience with JUnit testing
• Nice to have: Camunda, Azure Cloud
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
