Technical Writer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks:

• Create user documentation such as operating, service, and software manuals
• Create assembly plans and test procedures for product manufacturing
• Create and maintain content for specific audiences using an XML-based CMS (Schema ST4) and DTP software (Adobe FrameMaker)
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Implement documentation-relevant content from risk analyses
• Product photography and image editing
• Create technical illustrations from 2D and 3D data
• Write and edit texts in English and German
• Coordinate translation projects and manage terminology

Your Profile:

• Degree in a technical field and further training as a Technical Writer, or a degree focused on Technical Communication, or several years of experience as a Technical Writer
• At least 5 years of professional experience
• Proficient with common DTP, illustration, and image editing tools (FrameMaker, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Professional experience with Schema ST4
• Skilled in using 3D illustration software (e.g., Creo Illustrate, 3DViaComposer, or similar)
• Excellent German (native speaker level) and English (C1) skills, both written and spoken fluency
• Able to collaborate with others to gather necessary information
• Capable of filtering relevant information and preparing audience-specific documentation that meets regulatory and company requirements
