Senior System Engineer (m/f/d)

Join the team as responsible for the critical DNS and DHCP platform that power our customer services. As a Senior DNS and DHCP Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of these essential systems. Engage in exciting projects alongside divers stakeholders and make a lasting impact on our evolving platforms.

Tasks include and not restricted to:

• Develop and optimise cache and authoritative DNS infrastructure
• Develop and optimise DHCP infrastructure and maintain public IP address allocation
• Develop and optimise Radius accounting and authentication platform
• Develop and optimise IP Address Management platform
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows
• Manage and support the lab server environment
• Reporting and automation for the responsible systems (DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Radius)

Your profile:

• University degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
• Experience in the Telecommunication industry is important.
• At least 5 years of experience with large scale DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with IPAM, Radius installations in an ISP environment.
• Expert knowledge of UNIX/Linux system administration is important.
• Scripting skills in Python, Pearl, PHP, SQL and Ansible are a nice to have.
• At least 5 years of experience in implementing and administering common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSH.
• CCNA level of networking know-how is a nice to have.
• Ability to explain complex problems in simple terms to non-technical team members.
