Leadership Journeys: Meet Patrick Jan from the Leaders4Tomorrow Program

We kicked off this year’s Leaders4Tomorrow Program at the Talentor Global Summit in Warsaw in October 2024, followed by an intensive leadership camp. Over the year, the group took part in global keynotes, two company challenges, and many learning opportunities. In June 2025, the second group, including talents from Switzerland, the Netherlands, Ukraine, and Austria, successfully completed the program. We’re proud to have run Leaders4Tomorrow for two years now!
One of the top talents within the Talentor Community who participated and recently culminated the second cohort of the Leaders4Tomorrow Program was Patrick Jan.
Parick is a Senior Sales Consultant at epunkt – Austria’s market leader in recruiting.
Based in Styria and working across contracting, engineering, automotive, electronics, logistics, and construction, Patrick supports both clients and candidates with deep market knowledge and a strong recruiting team behind him.

As a participant in the global Leaders4Tomorrow program here at Talentor International, he stepped outside the Austrian market and embraced new perspectives in leadership and sales innovation.
Meet Patrick - We asked him a few questions and here is what he shared with us:
- What moment in your life has shaped who you are as a leader today — especially in a dynamic, people-focused field like recruiting?
I realized that leadership isn’t just about job titles – it’s about taking responsibility, creating clarity, and being a role model. Whether as a colleague, in a project, or in private life, leadership is about how you show up for others." - The Leaders4Tomorrow program encouraged you to "exit the Austrian bubble" — how did stepping into a global perspective shift the way you see leadership and growth in sales?
Talking to peers from different countries showed me that leadership looks different everywhere – and yet feels the same at its core. Cultures vary, but what truly matters is clarity, authenticity, and real communication. - You worked on a strategic challenge involving AI in sales. How do you see AI acting as a “buddy” in sales — especially in tougher economic times?
My motto this year was: no more gimmicks. I use AI in a way that really supports me – it brings new perspectives, uncovers blind spots, and frees up time to focus on what matters most: real conversations, strategy, and client value. - You're the go-to partner for clients across industries like automotive, logistics, and construction. What mindset helps you stay connected, trusted, and focused across such diverse sectors?
Curiosity is key. I want to truly understand how industries work, what drives people, and where their challenges lie. When you ask the right questions and genuinely listen, you don’t just stay relevant – you become a trusted partner. - Looking ahead, how will you use the tools and insights from this program — in your region, with your clients, and in growing new business areas like contracting and engineering?
Talking to peers from other countries who face similar challenges but approach them differently gave me new perspectives – and even friendships. I’ll carry these insights forward, share them with my team, and apply them in my daily work with clients.

Patrick, we loved working with you in the Leaders4Tomorrow global talent program! Your curiosity, open mind, and strong client-impact focus are exactly what make recruiting and sales a true winning team. You brought valuable insights from industries like engineering, automotive, logistics, and more — and showed how AI can be a real buddy in sales, especially during challenging times.
We're excited to see how you'll continue shaping the future of recruiting and client partnerships at epunkt and beyond!
