HR Manager

Job Function

- Responsible for all recruitment activities which will include activities like advertising, screening, interviewing, reference checking, work permit application and visa extension and recruitment of the employees of all levels for the hotel. Forecasts future manpower requirements and recommend strategic plans for maintaining optimal staffing levels to cope with operation needs.
- Coordinate and conduct, in conjunction with the training personnel, the orientation of new employees.
- Performance management and job evaluation.
- Manage the day to day employee relations activities ensuring that there is good and healthy working relation between staff.
- To be alert to any issues that may have a potential negative impact to the well being of the working environment.
- Update and advise the Management on employment and related legislation and ensure compliance
- Prepare yearly manpower budgets and annual training plan and budgets
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis, programme proposal, design and delivery.
- Study legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends.

Requirements:

A Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management is preferred;
Good command of oral and written communication skills in English & German;
Experience in the hotel industry will be a plus;
Knowledge of Swiss labour and employment legislation, compensation and benefits systems with good understanding L-Gav/N-CLA;
Computer literate in MS Office.
