- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract talent aligned with the company’s operational needs, including blue and white collar roles.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from creating job descriptions, posting job openings, screening resumes, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and provide recruitment guidance.
- Leverage sourcing strategies such as social media, job boards, employee referrals, and external agencies to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from application to onboarding.
- Manage compliance with labour laws and internal policies during recruitment and selection.
- Serve as an advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies and employee relations.
- Lead the onboarding process to integrate new employees into the company culture and ensure their smooth transition.
- Oversee the performance management cycle, including regular feedback, development planning, and performance reviews.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, ensuring that employees are motivated, productive, and aligned with the company's goals.
- Facilitate smooth offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Monitor and manage HR metrics related to retention, turnover, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction.
- Identify training needs across the organization by collaborating with department heads and using employee feedback.
- Develop and implement training programs focused on upskilling employees, including leadership development, safety training, and technical skills for logistics professionals.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to ensure continuous learning and professional development.
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing insight into workforce planning, talent needs, and HR best practices.
- Align HR initiatives with business objectives to drive organizational performance and employee satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management to implement change management initiatives that support company transformation and growth.
- Assist in driving HR projects such as organizational restructuring, change management, and talent development programs.
- Use HR analytics to forecast workforce needs, assess trends, and provide insights for decision-making.
- Ensure the company is in compliance with local, state, and federal labour laws, as well as internal HR policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the HR team to continuously update and improve HR policies to reflect business needs and legal requirements.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies, ensuring fair treatment and conflict resolution.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Experience in an HRBP role, preferably in logistics, transportation, or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and L&D functions.
- Familiarity with labour laws and regulations in the logistics and transportation sector.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret HR data and make data-driven decisions.
