National Senior Sales Manager - Logistics

Summary:

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with key accounts in the logistics sector. This role will focus on developing strategic partnerships and implementing sales strategies. You will collaborate closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure optimal service delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives;
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to increase sales of logistics solutions (freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, etc.).
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Build and manage a pipeline of high-value prospects, converting leads into long-term customers.
- Develop strategic partnerships with other logistics providers, carriers, and industry players to enhance the service portfolio.
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct regular client reviews and offer tailored solutions to meet evolving logistics needs.
- Address and resolve customer issues, ensuring high levels of service quality and responsiveness.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance and professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies and capitalize on opportunities.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses for senior management.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking to stay updated on logistics trends and build the company’s brand presence.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, business development, or key account management within the logistics/supply chain sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a fast-paced, B2B environment.
- Strong knowledge of logistics services (freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, transportation, etc.).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Fluent in Romanian and English
