Key Account Manager

Your Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our Steel Trade Division. In this role, your primary focus will be new customer acquisition, with a strong emphasis on proactive outbound sales of secondary/non-prime steel from our stock locations in Sweden, Poland, and Belgium. Your key market will be Poland and its neighbouring countries, where you will take the initiative to develop and expand business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and expand new customer relationships in primary markets.
· Reactivate, strengthen, and maintain relationships with existing customers.
· Drive sales of secondary/non-prime steel, focusing on available stock and aligning with market demand.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging market insights and industry trends.
· Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring profitability and long-term partnerships.
· Collaborate closely with internal teams, including logistics and operations, to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
· Travel frequently as required to meet customers and explore new market opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

· Proven track record of success in sales within the secondary/non-prime steel industry is essential.
· Strong experience in new customer acquisition and proactive outbound sales, with a results-driven mindset.
· Established industry network within the secondary/non-prime steel sector is highly desirable.
· Fluent English skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Proficiency in Swedish is an advantage.
· Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive business growth in a competitive market.
· Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a strategic approach to sales and account management.
