Accountant

YES-EU AS is a growing company and part of an international group focused on sustainable transport and energy solutions. We are now looking for an Accountant with relevant experience to strengthen our finance team.

In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Director and report directly to them, contributing to the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The position offers valuable insight into a dynamic company in a rapidly developing industry.

Key responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded in the ERP system (Microsoft Business Central)
• Update and manage accounts receivable
• Review, verify and process employee expenses in line with company policies
• Assist with the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports in accordance with legal and internal guidelines
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up when necessary
• Support with cost analysis
• Contribute to internal control processes
• Support senior accountant with monthly and yearly closing
• Handle inquiries from customers, vendors, and colleagues
• Perform various ad-hoc finance tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or administration
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage (Microsoft Business Central preferred)
• Structured and detail-oriented approach to work
• Takes responsibility and works independently
• Meets deadlines and handles tasks efficiently
• Contributes positively to a team environment
• Professional proficiency in both Norwegian and English
