Responsibilities Waiter/Waitress Michelin Star Restaurant

As a Waiter/Waitress in this Michelin Restaurant, you will play a crucial role in the guest experience. Your responsibilities include:

• Taking orders, serving guests and handling payments;
• Taking care of mise en place and providing information on Japanese dishes and traditions;
• Proactively sell restaurant products;
• Ensuring that tables and the restaurant remain clean;
• Following safety, health & safety, hygiene and HACCP guidelines.

Requirements

Requirements Waiter/Waitress Michelin Star Restaurant

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will meet the following requirements:

• Comparable work experience (1-2 years) in luxury hotels and/or restaurants;
• You have a keen interest in Japanese cuisine and culture;
• Preferably a hospitality-related education;
• You are fluent in English, preferably also in writing. Knowledge of the Japanese language is also a plus;
• You are flexible and have a guest-oriented attitude;
• You are used to working guidelines such as HACCP;
• Knowledge of Japanese culture, customs and kaiseki cuisine is a big plus for this position.

Salaris

The Offer Waiter/Waitress Michelin Star Restaurant

In this position, we offer a salary around 2,500 euros gross per month, based on 38 hours. In addition, this includes 25 holidays and 7 extra days off to compensate for working on public holidays. We also offer ample time and budget to develop your knowledge of Japanese culture and cuisine. Finally, we offer great benefits in terms of Family & Friends discount in the restaurant and hotel.
