Job Description - Lead Fullstack Developer
As the Lead Fullstack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in both technical leadership and hands-on development of a new product. You will be building from scratch with no legacy systems, giving you the freedom to innovate and set the technical direction.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Team Leadership: Mentoring and guiding junior and medior developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Fullstack Development: Designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications using Node.js, Python and React.
- API Design: Developing robust and efficient GraphQL APIs to power the product’s backend services.
- Database Management: Designing and optimizing data models and queries using relational (PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
- Infrastructure Collaboration: Working closely with DevOps to streamline development processes, improve system reliability, and enhance the overall developer experience.
- Modern Practices: Implementing professional workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code reviews, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Performance and Security: Ensuring backend systems are optimized for performance and adhere to best practices for data security.

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer, with expertise in Node.js or Python.
- Strong knowledge of GraphQL API design and database management (PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL).
- Experience with modern development practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.
- A passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a team of developers.
