Interim Project Lead Harmonization Finance Control

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Lead Harmonization Finance Control for a clearly defined project assignment, running from July 2025 through June 2026.

The assignment requires a minimum commitment of five days per week and will focus on delivering specific payroll-related improvements within this fixed period.

Responsibilities Project Lead Harmonization Finance Control

The Project Lead Harmonization Finance Control will work on clearly defined deliverables, including:

Finance Control optimization and organizational improvements.
Identification of improvements for finance processes.
Implement improvements of finance processes.

Project content

Design and implement a new organizational model for global Finance Control organization, including country organizations
Consider role of (local) Finance Control in Tax and Compliance work
Collaboration with Business Partnering
Global finance processes
Standardization for all regions
Standardize and implement quality upgrade of global work processes for accounting / closing procedures
Standardize scope and quality of outsourced activities for accounting and closing processes
Support upgrade in quality (IT) tooling for accounting and closing processes

Assignment Conditions

The assignment is project-based and independent, with no hierarchical relationship to the organization.
The Payroll Specialist will work with clearly defined objectives and deliverables.
The specialist is not embedded within the organizational structure (no team leadership, no participation in internal team meetings beyond project scope, and self-managed/flexible work hours).
Collaboration will take place based on pre-agreed milestones and reporting points (output driven).
