Responsibilities : Director of Research & Development

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead R&D efforts and manage a multidisciplinary team;

• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Agronomy, and Regulatory teams to develop and advance product pipelines;

• Oversee the design and execution of development plans, including the preparation of registration dossiers for successful product commercialization;

• Shape the strategic technology roadmap and champion sustainable innovation in product development;

• Manage project budgets, optimize resource allocation, and protect intellectual property;

• Represent the organization in interactions with external stakeholders, industry experts, and research partners;

• Drive team development by enhancing capabilities and implementing long-term talent growth initiatives.

Requirements

Requirements : Director of Research & Development

• A Master’s or PhD in Plant Science, Agronomy, Chemistry, or a closely related discipline;

• Over a decade of experience leading R&D initiatives within the specialty fertilizer or crop nutrition sector;

• In-depth knowledge of sustainable agri-technologies, including micronutrients, controlled-release formulations, and biostimulants;

• Proven track record of managing diverse teams, with excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities;

• A proactive, client-focused attitude paired with high energy and a collaborative leadership style;

• Proficiency in English is essential; Dutch language skills are a strong asset.

What Can You Expect From Us?

A yearly salary between €110.000 and €135.000, depending on your knowledge and experience.
