CFO Fintech/Financial markets scale up

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer, CFO, for a leading Fintech company/scale up with Dutch origins.

The company is a leading proprietary trading firm driven by technology, data, and a passion for the markets. They thrive in a dynamic and hands-on environment where leadership is expected to be as involved in the details as the execution teams. because of continuous growth they are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance team and evolve our financial strategy while staying closely connected to day-to-day operations.

As CFO, you will oversee all financial operations based at our Amsterdam headquarters, with additional oversight responsibilities for our international offices. You will lead a team of four finance professionals and act as a strategic partner to the executive team, ensuring operational excellence while shaping long-term financial direction.

Responisbilities Chief Financial Officer

• Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting across the group

• Oversee accounting, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions

• Work closely with trading and operational teams to align financial controls with business activities

• Support the ongoing development of financial infrastructure and tools

• Provide hands-on leadership to a small, high-performing finance team

• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions

• Contribute to broader business strategy as a member of the senior leadership team

Requirements

Requirements Chief Financial Officer

• Qualified RA (or equivalent) with strong accounting fundamentals

• Affinity with international tax and regulatory matters

• 10+ years of experience in finance, preferably in a trading, fintech, or high-performance environment

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on culture—preferably with non-corporate, entrepreneurial experience

• Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)

• Able to navigate both strategic thinking and operational execution

Salaris

The Offer Chief Financial Officer

Fixed Gross Annual salary 150.000 - 200.000  Euro with excellent secondary benefits
