Do you enjoy working in an international team, love specification management and have a Master degree in Food science/technology?

For an innovative nutrition research company, we are looking for a Ingredient Specification Technologist to manage the specifications for ingredients in Europe. We are searching for a person who is interested in the food industry, regarding ingredient specification management and participate in the development of new and innovative medical nutrition solutions (for sensitive people).

Global Specification Technologist will manage the specifications for micro ingredients in Europe, which could include flavours, colours, minerals, vitamins, amino acids etc, as per business/project needs.

Creating specifications to meet the needs of the end product, consumer & market, as well as managing the Specifications approval process & maintaining up to date (SAP System) data will be a part of the role.

Required to connect with multiple functions within the organisation and with suppliers to align on details of specifications to ensure full food safety and regulatory compliance to ensure highest standards of finished products for sensitive customers.

Next to this, you connect with multiple functions within Danone and suppliers to focus on details of specifications to ensure full food safety and regulatory compliance.

• A Master degree in food science/technology, quality/safety/regulatory or related field; • Minimum 2 years’ experience with ingredient specification management experience in the food/pharma industry; • Knowledge and experience working with ingredients i.e. flavours, colours, minerals, vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates and or fats & oils; • Knowlegde of European ingredient specification rules and regulations; • Fluent in English, verbally and written.

This is a temporary position for 1 year with the possibility that the contract will be extended. In addition, you will work on an external contracnt.

  • Salary will be around €4000,- gross a month based on a full time position (40 hours a week) and is based on education and experience;
  • 30 annual leave days;
  • Travel expenses will be covered;
  • Pension plan.
