The Leaders4Tomorrow Program is a compass and solution we created to navigate challenging times in our industry – as a recruiter, as a team lead, and as leading operations.
Leadership Journey L4 T Program Blog 2025 Dominic Saxer

We kicked off this year’s Leaders4Tomorrow Program at the Talentor Global Summit in Warsaw in October 2024, followed by an intensive leadership camp. Over the year, the group took part in global keynotes, two company challenges, and many learning opportunities. In June 2025, the second group, including talents from Switzerland, the Netherlands, Ukraine, and Austria, successfully completed the program. We’re proud to have run Leaders4Tomorrow for two years now!

One of the top talents within the Talentor Community who participated and recently culminated the second cohort of the Leaders4Tomorrow Program was Dominic Saxer.

Speaking IT: How Coopers Creates a Seamless Experience for Tech Talent and Clients

In today’s competitive tech market, the key to success is speed, structure, and human connection. Dominic Saxer, Talent Acquisition Consultant at Coopers Group AG in Bern, brings exactly that to his work with IT clients across Switzerland - recruiting for roles from Junior IT Supporters to Agile Coaches, Lead Architects, and Project Managers.

Working closely with Coopers’ IT recruiting teams in Zurich, Dominic ensures that top candidates and urgent hiring needs meet at the right time - not by chance, but through consistency, clarity, and a shared mindset in the team.

A Challenge That Turned Into a System

As part of his 10-month development journey in Leaders4Tomorrow, Dominic worked on a key challenge: How can recruiters share great candidates faster and more effectively across the team?

The answer wasn’t a high-tech tool but a simple, structured change: a shared “Hot Candidate List”.

“We started tracking the best candidates in a structured way, reviewing it every two weeks. It’s made all the difference in how we collaborate and how fast we can respond to new roles.”

By implementing this routine and sharing ownership with the team, Dominic helped create a more responsive, candidate-first recruiting process - already leading to multiple successful placements.

Trust, Transparency, and Team Spirit

Dominic’s clients include some of Switzerland’s big players in IT to mid-size hidden champions. The roles he fills are complex - but his approach remains refreshingly simple: be honest, open, and dependable.

“I enjoy working with people who are authentic and collaborative. Our team works with a lot of trust and reliability, which makes it fun - even when the pressure is high.”

His strong personal relationships with both clients and candidates allow him to deliver quickly - sometimes after just one conversation.

Growth in Mindset, Not Just Metrics

Before joining Leaders4Tomorrow, Dominic already had a clear sense of fairness and team spirit - but he wanted more structure in his own way of working. Through the program, he refined how he manages himself, built stronger habits, and embraced a more strategic outlook.

“I’ve always been a fair player. But now, I’m also more confident in setting direction, speaking up, and driving results.”

A Few Personal Questions for You, Dominic:

  1. Which part of the recruitment process do you enjoy the most – and why?
I truly enjoy the personal exchange with candidates. I see myself not just as a recruiter, but as a trusted advisor – someone who guides them transparently and honestly through the process. Of course, working as a recruiter is most enjoyable when a successful placement is made at the end of the process and both the client and the candidate are happy.
  2. In your view, what are the most critical skills recruiters will need in the future to find and engage top tech talent?
There is a lot of competition in the market and often only a few truly suitable candidates. That’s why it’s essential to communicate with authenticity, empathy, and transparency – and to build a strong foundation of trust with candidates. Given the ongoing shortage of skilled professionals in the IT sector, recruiters must go beyond reactive hiring and proactively build and maintain talent networks. It’s equally important that recruiters stay up to date with technological developments, so they can better understand future client needs and engage with tech talent on an informed level.
  3. Outside of work, what helps you recharge and stay focused in a fast-paced, client-driven environment?
Physical activity is key for me to recharge outside of work. Sports help me release energy and clear my mind. At the same time, I really value quiet moments in nature – they help me find balance. And as someone who enjoys good food, I love winding down with an apéro or a nice dinner with family or friends. This mix of movement, relaxation, and culinary enjoyment keeps me energized and focused.
