Leadership Journeys: Meet Joëlle Huber from the Leaders4Tomorrow Program

We kicked off this year’s Leaders4Tomorrow Program at the Talentor Global Summit in Warsaw in October 2024, followed by an intensive leadership camp. Over the year, the group took part in global keynotes, two company challenges, and many learning opportunities. In June 2025, the second group, including talents from Switzerland, the Netherlands, Ukraine, and Austria, successfully completed the program. We’re proud to have run Leaders4Tomorrow for two years now!


One of the top talents within the Talentor Community who participated and recently culminated the second cohort of the Leaders4Tomorrow Program was Joëlle Huber.

Joëlle is a Talent Acquisition Consultant at Coopers Group, Talentor in Switzerland.

When Joëlle Huber joined the world of recruiting, she brought with her a unique blend of speed, structure, and people instinct — a skillset honed during her time in logistics and now used to connect top IT talent with the right clients across Switzerland within the Coopers Zurich team.

Working mainly in finance, insurance, and IT consulting, Joëlle supports searches from Junior Supporters to Lead Engineers – always ensuring that every client requirement is met with insight and every candidate feels truly heard. In addition to IT roles, she also works on business profiles such as Project Managers, Business Analysts, Requirements Engineers, and PMOs.

From Fast-Paced to Focused: A New Way to Onboard

In her Leaders4Tomorrow project, Joëlle zoomed in on how to strengthen the onboarding process for recruiters, especially those entering the field from other industries — like she once did herself.

Even with a good onboarding structure already in place at Coopers, Joëlle saw an opportunity: create an IT foundation training for all recruiters, no matter their experience level.

The result? A two-day live training full of role insights, job family overviews, and real-life cases — with even senior team members discovering new perspectives. Future plans include turning the content into on-demand learning modules.

Growth in Small Steps and Shared Wins

Through the 10-month Leaders4Tomorrow journey, Joëlle not only sharpened her technical knowledge but also stepped into a new leadership role. As the deputy to her team lead, she’s become the go-to person for coordination, clarity, and team spirit.

 A Few Personal Questions for You, Joëlle: 

  1. You used to play rugby — which parts of the sport have shaped your approach to recruiting the most? Rugby taught me a lot about teamwork and persistence — both helped me in how I approach recruiting today.
  2. What’s one piece of advice you would give someone just starting out in recruitment? Sometimes you win, sometimes times are tough — even when success doesn’t come right away, don’t give up and keep believing in yourself and your gut feeling.
  3. Which types of recruiting projects are your core expertise — where do you really thrive? Advising/consulting clients, having a good and trustworthy relationship with them. Recruiting business-profiles are my favorites, but there's always something exciting about finding the right Software Developer!
  4. What brings you the most energy during a high-intensity recruiting week? Depending on the weather: Meeting friends for dinner, enjoying a good Netflix series or going for a walk in the woods.
