Leadership Journeys: Meet Yuliya Gribovskaya from the Leaders4Tomorrow Program
Strategic Recruiting in Challenging Times: Yuliya Gribovskaya’s Client Approach at Talentor Ukraine
How do you build trust and long-term partnerships in an unpredictable market? For Yulia Gribovskaya, Lead Talent Manager for executive roles at Talentor Ukraine (MIRA top recruiting), the answer is a powerful mix of market knowledge, human connection, and strategic focus.

As a participant in the Talentor Leaders4Tomorrow program, Yulia grew into a more strategic role - developing client initiatives, expanding her network, and shaping how Talentor Ukraine supports businesses hiring top executives in FMCG, agriculture, banking, and beyond in close collaboration with her leadership team.
Client Care: Market Insight Meets Personal Connection
Talentor Ukraine’s client strategy is built on three core initiatives:
- Quarterly HR Digests with salary data, hiring trends, and demographic insights - giving clients clear, actionable information.
- Active involvement in the HR Club - a network of 35+ HRDs from major Ukrainian companies.
- Personalized touches - birthday emails, company anniversaries, and direct outreach to maintain strong, lasting client relationships.
She also offers Talent Radar alerts when top candidates enter the market and short employer feedback reports based on candidate perception - positioning herself as a true business advisor.
Executive Search with Purpose
Yulia focuses on complex, senior roles like CEO, CCO, and COO, requiring deep market understanding and soft skills evaluation. Recent mandates involve top-level leaders with combined commercial, operational, and business development backgrounds.
In today’s Ukraine, candidate motivation is complex - particularly for roles linked to critical infrastructure. That’s why Yulia maintains a large, flexible talent pool and works closely with clients to align on expectations and needs.
Growing Through Leadership
The Leaders4Tomorrow journey helped Yulia step beyond day-to-day recruiting and into strategic leadership. Supported by her colleague Alena and inspired by her team’s energy, she’s taken on more responsibility and is now preparing for an account manager role.
What Fuels Your Success, Yuliya?
A mix of structure, purpose, and people.
My personal rhythm keeps me grounded — 7–8 hours of sleep (when possible!), regular workouts with a coach, and a strong commitment to self-discipline.
In uncertain times, discipline is not about control, but about care — it helps me stay balanced, focused, and emotionally resilient.
What truly fuels me is a deep belief in the meaning of what I do. It’s not just about filling executive roles — it’s about helping leaders shape a new economic reality and supporting individuals in finding direction, clarity, and purpose in their careers.
And of course — my team. We hold space for each other, stay calm in chaos, and move forward together. I’m also deeply inspired by our agency partners, Alena and Miroslava, who invest their energy, trust, and time into growing not just the business — but the people behind it.
Success, for me, is never just personal. It’s shared.
A Few Personal Questions for You, Yuliya
- What’s one piece of advice you’d give to companies in need to top executive talent in Ukraine today?
Don’t just look for a function — look at the person.
The war has changed the context: today, what matters most is not only achievements but also personal resilience, crisis leadership, flexibility, empathy, and the ability to make decisions amid constant turbulence.
A top executive now is not just a manager, but someone who brings clarity, keeps people at the center, and isn’t afraid to take responsibility.
These are the kinds of leaders worth not only hiring — but building strategic partnerships with. - What recent achievements are you most proud of?
I’m proud that we managed to preserve client trust, team unity, and our professional rhythm — even during the most difficult months of the full-scale invasion.
We didn’t just keep working — we became a pillar of support for businesses searching for leaders in the most critical moments.
Today, it’s not just about recruitment — it’s about psychological support, helping clients navigate a new reality, and guiding people toward meaning and their next step.
It’s not only about the number of roles filled, but about the trust, relationships, and partnerships that have withstood the war. - What helps you recharge after a tough week?
In times like these, it’s not just about recharging — it’s about preserving your inner light and grounding.
For me, that means practicing self-awareness: allowing myself to pause, sit in silence, recognize and fully experience my emotions.
I’ve made it a habit to take at least one day a week away from news, screens, and overstimulation — an information detox has become a must-have.
I return to what’s simple: nature, the tangible rhythm of real life, time with loved ones, the aroma of coffee, an unstructured conversation.
And most importantly — an unshakable belief in the purpose of our work, in the people around me, and in myself.
Love for Ukraine isn’t just an emotion — it’s a source of strength.
It’s about being a light in dark times and making a difference — even through the smallest actions.
Thank you, Yuliya and the MIRA team, for your inspiring work and dedication. Your strategic focus and deep care for clients are exactly what make Talentor Ukraine such a trusted partner, especially for companies hiring at the top decision-making level.
