Buying and Production Planner - Temporary

For a global retail organization in Amsterdam I am looking for a Buying & Demand Planner.

The Buying & Planning Team plans the seasonal collection buys as well as the non-seasonal capsule buy. In the role of Buying & Demand Planner you ensure optimum Seasonal Planning is done from the range plan handover to the official purchase order creation based on desired KPI’s. You will work closely with the business analysts, the Buying & Demand Planners, Merchandisers and product developers, Merchandising Planning teams as well as the upply Value Chain teams.

In the role you will assist the Buying team with:

• Managing seasonal planning with vendors;
• Stakeholder management ( product merchandisers, product developers , vendors , buying operations , buying offices);
• Generate the weekly purchase orders in delivery reports;
• Supporting the team through suggesting innovative ideas.

We are looking for:

• Past experience in buying or/and planning;
• Strong Excel skills;
• Analytical mind-set;
• Experienced in supply chain;
• Experienced with SAP;
• Excellent communication skills (spoken and written);
• Ability to prioritize.
