As a Chef de Partie, your job is to participate in the kitchen and to create a healthy and safe work environment for all your team members. Additionally, you share your most creative ideas with the Chef. You make sure that the products leaving the kitchen do comply with the expected level of consistency. You are able to perform well under hectic circumstances, and you are always service minded towards guests.
This hotel has over 100 rooms, several banqueting facilities and is located in the middle of a dynamic environment where events are regulary present. There is always something exciting going on! This restaurant offers place for about 80 guests which can expand to place for 140 guests. During events, it can be quite busy in the hotel and therefore the restaurant does experience peaks on a regular basis.

As a Chef de Partie, you make sure that you and your team can work as efficiently as possible to deliver the best experience to your guests! You are the right hand man of the Sous Chef and you work closely together with this person to ensure that the F&B vision of the hotel gets translated to what comes out of the kitchen. As a Chef de Partie, you handle an influx of orders without any issue and deliver the best dishes to your guests in a timely manner. In addition to running the daily operation in the kitchen, you are responsible for making sure that all the HACCP norms are abided by while working.
In short you are responsible for:
- Running the daily operation in the kitchen to make sure everybody works efficiently;
- Ordering ingredients from suppliers and managing stock;
- Ensuring the quality of dishes that are served to the guests and deliver consistency;
- Ensuring that HACCP norms are abided by;
- Creating an unforgettable experience towards guests.
As the perfect candidate for this role you can match yourself with the following criteria:
- At least 2 years of provable and relevant experience in the kitchen;
- In posession of a wide range of experience of different cuisines and cooking techniques;
- Ability to speak English fluently (Dutch is a plus);
- Creative with ingredients and menu items;
- Having the ability to keep calm under hectic circumstances.
Along with a position in a great company known for their growth opportunities, you will be offered a salary between €2200 and €2500 gross per month based on a 38 hour workweek.
