By reusing high-quality, seasonal ingredients that would otherwise go to waste, this restaurant creates fantastic dishes. Along with unique and fresh products from nature, the best and most tasteful plant-based dishes and drinks are created. This restaurant also has a great passion for beer. Together with an Amsterdam based brewery, food-beer pairings have been created.

Together with the driven Head Chef, you work with your team to contribute to a butter-smooth operation. You recognize potential in your colleagues and enjoy training and mentoring your colleagues. You share your vision and creativity with the Head Chef and together with him and the team you lead the kitchen of this great restaurant at a unique location!

In the role of Sous Chef, you will work closely with the driven Head Chef and together you will manage a medium-sized team. In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • Serving lunch and dinner to a crowd of up to 400 guests;
  • Contributing to the development of saisonal menus and beer & food pairings;
  • Leading the kitchen team along with the Head Chef;
  • Thinking along in operations and increasing overall sales;
  • Designing and implementing new menus;
  • Management of schedules, planning and purchasing.

Furthermore, you will learn about craft beers, speciality beers & food pairings and sustainable plant-based dishes.

A great opportunity to develop in a large company and operate independently is offered for this specific position of Sous Chef. In addition, a salary between €2700 and €3200 gross per month based on full-time employment and your experience is offered. This company finds it important that you are heard and that you are in the right place. Therefore, there are regular team days and other outings where fun and your own feedback can be shared.
