Global Process Engineer (Cement) (m/f/d)

Main Accountabilities:

• Process Support to cement global operations.
• Lead process assessments to detect and improve pyro process conditions.
• Optimize cement production lines.
• Train process engineers in operations facilities.
• Develop novel technologies to be deployed in cement process.
• Apply knowledge of CO2 capture technologies
• Process support and commissioning expansion projects for new lines.
• Coordinate and lead activities or projects in cement plants.
• Evaluation of new technologies (kilns, burners, pre-heaters, etc.)
• Impact assessment of new alternative fuels in pyro-process.
• Evaluate emissions impact in the cement process lines.

Position Requirements:

• Academic background desirable is Chemical Engineer or Process Engineer (with a bachelor’s degree) and Master’s degree (PhD is a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in cement industry as process engineer, or supervisor, or operator inside the cement industry
• Knowledge of the manufacturing process in the cement industry
• Understanding of the process required in the different areas of the cement industry
• Communication skills, able to develop networks in cement plants.
• Multifunctional skills and able to be analytic, define, and solve any problems in the daily operation of the cement plants.
• Fluent written and spoken English is a must, any other languages Spanish, German, French is an advantage
