Embedded Instrument Control Software Tester (m/f/d)

Job Summary:
Are you an experienced software tester with a passion for ensuring quality in complex systems? Our client, a leading organization in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, is looking for an Embedded Instrument Control Software Tester to join their innovative team. What You’ll Do:

• Test software functionalities and their interaction with hardware and the overall system
• Plan, create, and execute test cases based on product and technical requirements
• Analyze data, logs, and results to identify issues and provide actionable insights
• Track bugs and verify fixes to enhance system reliability
• Support troubleshooting for R&D and production teams

What We’re Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or software engineering (or a related field)
• At least 5 years of experience in software development and testing, ideally in hardware-related environments
• Proven expertise in test automation, programming, and mechatronics
• Strong knowledge of Linux in professional settings
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
