L'AGENCE is a boutique, AI-native retained executive search and leadership advisory firm headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 2024 by an ex-Egon Zehnder consultant and GE leader, the firm serves technology-driven and innovation-focused startups and small-to-mid-cap companies across North America, Europe, and Africa, with a focus on cross-border, modernization, and transformation mandates.
L'AGENCE is built for one problem in particular: leadership that has to hold across borders and across transformations. We work with technology-driven and innovation-focused startups and small-to-mid-cap companies across North America, Europe, and Africa, assessing senior hires against the operating context our clients actually run in: the markets and languages they cross, and the inflection their business is moving through, whether geographic expansion into a new region, a digital or AI-driven transformation of the operating model, or both at once.

Michaëlle Gocko Achukwu
Michaëlle is the Founder and CEO of L'AGENCE, an Atlanta-based boutique executive search and leadership advisory firm she launched in 2024 after a decade across executive search, leadership advisory, and global commercial leadership. French-Congolese and raised in Brittany, she has lived and worked across five countries and three continents, the lived credential behind the firm's cross-cultural leadership work.
Her career has tracked three waves of digital transformation: digital content in the 2000s during her early career in the Parisian creative and ad industry, the industrial internet during her years at GE, and now generative and agentic AI reshaping professional services and the operational backbone of growing companies. At GE, she held both regional market expansion leadership roles focused on Francophone Africa and global commercial roles, based first on the continent and then in the US, leading commercial work around energy storage for Francophone Africa and global roles across distributed power, digital solutions, customer experience, and partner ecosystems. She is a graduate of GE's Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP). Before founding L'AGENCE, she was an executive search and leadership advisory consultant at Egon Zehnder, placing and assessing for succession planning C-suite and VP leaders for Fortune 500, PE-backed, and family-owned businesses across North America and Europe. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master's in Non-Profit and Social Enterprise Management from Le Mans University in France.
She founded L'AGENCE to build what she wished had existed inside a global firm: elite human judgment, no longer capped by the administrative limits of the tools beneath it, focused on the contexts where it makes the most difference. Growing companies navigating geographic expansion, digital and AI transformation, or operational modernization, the inflection points where the right leader changes the trajectory of the business, and where Michaëlle's experience compounds most. Michaëlle serves on the board of the French-American Chamber of Commerce Atlanta–Southeast, is a board advisor to La French Tech Atlanta, a founding member of the FACC's French Women in Business, and a member of OnBoard Atlanta.
Sylvie Ngoko
Sylvie focuses on global talent identification and market intelligence at L'AGENCE. Combining advanced AI-powered sourcing with multi-sector market analysis, she identifies the candidates traditional firms miss and turns each engagement into a sharper read on the client's talent market.
Before L'AGENCE, Sylvie spent more than a decade across customer success, talent sourcing, and business development in the HR Tech, EdTech, and recruitment ecosystems, with operating experience across early-stage, scale-up, and international group environments. She holds a Business Management degree from INSEEC Grande École and is completing a Bachelor's in Marketing and Communication. Native French speaker, professional English. Based in Rennes, France.
Vinay Muley
Vinay architects the AI-powered intelligence layer that runs underneath every L'AGENCE search engagement. He designs the sourcing systems, candidate research automation, and market intelligence pipelines that let the firm surface candidates traditional search firms miss, including diaspora talent, returners, and cross-corridor moves. His work is what makes L'AGENCE's advisory grounded in compounding market data rather than experience alone.
Before L'AGENCE, Vinay held technical project management and product roles at Oracle, Tata Consultancy Services, and joinpacta, building expertise across enterprise platform architecture, legacy system migration, and AI-driven operations. He holds an MSc in Project & Program Management from SKEMA Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering from Mumbai University. Based in Paris, France.
