Talentor is ready for the challenges of the Chinese market
It was the most important event of the Austrian business community in China, held on October 26th to 28th in Shanghai. According to the organizer, more than 180 representatives of Austrian companies with subsidiaries in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan participated the event.
Top speakers and experts from various industries provided the participants with useful insights and information on a commercial, regulatory and political outlook in the Chinese market in 2025. Experts also spoke a lot about the opportunities and also the challenges Austrian companies will face until 2025, starting with the new cyberlaw right up to China’s need for expert knowledge in high tech and key technologies.
Talent recruitment was a hot topic, where almost 9 out of 10 attendees spoke about the difficulty to find the right employees, in particular, local people with the right working attitude and the required education. The huge demand for talents comes from areas like Mechatronics, IT, Intralogistics and Robotics. It covers exactly the needs where China will expand until 2025.

On the last day, we visited the Jade Buddha Temple and we also got a lesson in zen meditation, which was very interesting and useful for most of the participants. All in all, Austria connect greater China was a great success for all attendees.
