Isee Q Team

What is your company´s USP for clients and candidates?

IseeQ stands out as a specialized technology recruitment agency with a team of seasoned professionals. We excel in sourcing top talent across a wide array of industries such as Fintech, MedTech, Gaming, AI/ML, and connect candidates with both local and remote opportunities.

We pride ourselves on a personalized recruitment approach, direct candidate searches, and active community engagement.

For our candidates, we provide support throughout and after the recruitment process, ensuring they receive proper feedback and access to unique job opportunities that aid their professional growth.

What is a typical profile that you recruit?

Our focus lies in recruiting for mid-level, senior, and leadership roles in the tech industry, mainly developers, architects, testers, and data, infrastructure, and AI/ML specialists.

Who is a typical client for you?

We typically partner with companies that have development teams ranging from 5 to 200 members.

What led you to found your company?

The recruitment business is an exciting landscape, teeming with diverse personalities and fresh innovations. Founding IseeQ gave me the opportunity to meet inspiring individuals, build a robust network, and learn about different companies and industries.

What is one thing you would recommend to companies that not just want to recruit great talents, but also retain them?

The key is to hire a capable HR team and treat them as partners, not just support staff. A good HR leader who understands the nuances of your business can contribute significantly to developing your company's culture, grooming managers, and ensuring employee well-being.

What are the biggest learnings from your career?

With 15 years in the recruitment business, I've learned that it's a people-centric industry. The success of your company is proportional to the quality of people within it. Therefore, our top priority is figuring out how to unleash the full potential of our team.

What advice would you give your younger self or any young person when starting their career?

I would advise trusting and acting on your instincts. Making swift decisions often helps save considerable energy, resources, and money.

What is your favorite thing about the recruitment industry?

The joy of connecting the dots is unparalleled. It's rewarding to tap into my international network of professionals to move things forward or help a friend.

What surprises foreign companies the most when they are recruiting specialists in your country?

Foreign companies often express positive surprise at the level of knowledge, practicality, and problem-solving creativity of Hungarian IT professionals.

What are the most frequent intercultural problems? What's the biggest cultural misunderstanding that you've seen?

The most common issue I've noticed, whether intercultural or otherwise, is treating employees as second-class citizens, which can seriously undermine effective collaboration.

What did you learn from working interculturally?

I've learned to discard stereotypes and allow individuals to build their own reputation and character.

What is something that a foreign company would never guess about the Hungarian labor market?

Despite Hungary being a relatively small nation, it's impressive to see a multitude of top tech and creative industry companies worldwide with Hungarian engineers on their rosters.

Why did you decide to join the Talentor network?

I joined the Talentor network to connect with like-minded individuals who share my experiences and challenges in the recruitment industry.

What do you think is great about being part of an international network / the Talentor network?

Being part of the Talentor network offers different perspectives on our industry and a chance to see the bigger picture. The positive attitude within the network is also very uplifting.

Do you have other hobbies or things you enjoy doing with your family that you would like to share?

Absolutely, I'm a bit of a geek. I love everything from video games and comics to sci-fi – thankfully, my wife shares these interests. I'm also a sports enthusiast and enjoy playing football and basketball with my son or going for a motorbike ride.

Tell a little bit about yourself.

I have an electrical engineering background, and I value facts, clear communication, and transparency.

Balancing a fulfilling professional life with personal happiness is important to me.

This principle has guided me to build a professional yet fun company, where one would feel a sense of belonging, while also cultivating a personal life that allows me to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
