Thijmen Meijer
Thijmen comes from the hospitality industry and started his career in recruitment at Randstad Sourceright. Leading numerous high-performing, large teams for global accounts in the engineering and pharmaceutical sectors. He continued at KPMG, leading the conceptualisation, execution, and evolution of the company's Learning & Development, Global Mobility and Talent Acquisition strategy from scratch. Following his time at KPMG, Thijmen founded his own recruitment agency, supporting a boutique search agency in Budapest. After a brief interim assignment, Thijmen decided to specialise in international ESG and sustainability recruitment and executive search.
Imard Veenstra
Imard brings over 6 years of sales experience across various industries before transitioning into the field of recruitment. He has filled roles internationally in, among others, engineering, sales and finance, many of them in the PV and manufacturing industry. With fluency in Dutch, German, Hungarian, and English, he enjoys working on an international level. Not only because he is a member of Generation Z, Imard’s passion for the environment is evident, as he actively engages in sustainable practices, like composting food waste at home and commuting solely by bike.
He holds an MSc. degree from the German-speaking Andrássy University, and studied also at the renowned IVA Business School. This unique combination equips him with a solid foundation to grasp technical concepts, bridging the gap between business and sustainable technology.
László Tóth-Deák
László has long experience in environmental business-related fields, public services, waste management, recycling, raw material trade and HVAC efficiency. In 2007 he started his top management career and has been leading different-sized multinational and local companies ever since. Worked several years in the field of public services, being involved in waste management projects in CEE. Thereafter, he continued in the paper industry as head of a multinational group's local branch,then started his own consulting business specialised in environmental, packaging and recycling, circular economy and legal obligations management. Furthermore, Laszlo got involved in a Swiss group's, Balkans development in trading with recyclable raw materials and spreading the circular economy concept among partners in many countries. Today,he has turned towards developing our sustainability-focused search firm in the region, as Business Development Partner of Meijer&Co.
Matilda Patsou
Matilda, with over a decade of international HR and recruitment expertise, founded Brandwiser in 2019 to bring a personalized touch to professional development. Her coaching integrates HR insights, innovative career strategies, and a genuine passion for helping her clients thrive. With a track record of supporting 400+ high achievers from 45+ countries, she's dedicated to guiding professionals towards more fulfilling roles and helping them strategically plan their long-term career development.
Martina Méhes
Martina has a diverse experience in the energy sector, from developing innovative community energy business solutions, to carbon accounting and sustainability reporting. She supervised large-scale solar park developments. She conducted fundamental research in thermonuclear physics, hydrogeology, and conservation projects. She has a holistic approach to energy-related topics and puts a great emphasis on social responsibility and scientific education. Currently, she is the head of the prestigious Energiaklub Climate Policy and Applied Science Center, an independent Hungarian NGO specializing in energy and climate-related projects and policies. She takes part in an extensive EU-based international network of energy and climate policy professionals. Furthermore, she oversees the preparation and management of EU-funded projects, (co-)authors studies and articles, regularly appears in the media, participates in policy discussions, and performs civil duties.
Zsófi Tomaj
Zsófi Tomaj is a senior ESG and sustainable development expert working mainly on corporate sustainability. Facilitating the transition to sustainable development is her personal mission. Zsófi has a unique background with 15 years of diplomatic experience, of which she served five years at the Hungarian Permanent Mission in New York, working on developing the Sustainable Development Goals. After returning from New York, she worked at the Environmental Sustainability Department at the Office of the President. Zsófi has a holistic approach to sustainability. Due to her diplomatic past, Zsófi is also skilled in multicultural team management, governmental affairs, communication, and protocol. Zsófi is also the co-host of a podcast on sustainability called Körforgásban.
